Police in Kanungu are currently investigating a disturbing case of murder that has shaken the local community. The incident involves the tragic death of John Bosco Katushabe, a 37-year-old security guard, whose body was discovered under mysterious circumstances.
According to reports, Katushabe was employed as a guard at UTL Mass Boosters in Rugando Village, Rutenja Sub County, Kanungu District. However, on the night of May 6, 2024, he met a tragic fate, as he was allegedly killed, and his body was hidden.
The case took a grim turn when Katushabe was reported missing on May 11, 2024, prompting a search by concerned community members. Despite their efforts, no trace of him was found until May 22, 2024, when shocking news emerged. On May 23, 2024, authorities visited the crime scene, where they found a shallow grave containing what remained of Katushabe’s body. Unfortunately, wild dogs had disturbed the burial site, scattering most of the body tissues.
