The Ntungamo District Commercial Officer, Aryanyijuka Ezrah, has called on financial institutions and organizations to prioritize transparent accountability as a key strategy for community transformation.
Aryanyijuka made these remarks while officiating at the Muntuyera Co-operative Savings and Credit Society Limited (SACCO) event in Rwashamaire, where the best-performing members were recognized for their commitment to saving and effective loan utilization.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors for Muntuyera SACCO Rwashamaire, Rev. Nahoora Benson, commended the SACCO for bringing its services closer to the community. He also expressed gratitude to the staff for their timely implementation of SACCO plans and projects, which contribute to sustainable development.
The Manager of Muntuyera SACCO Rwashamaire, Kwarisiima Agnes, highlighted that the SACCO operates three branches: the Rwashamaire head office, Akatojo, and Ruyonza.
Outstanding performers were rewarded with Christmas gifts and incentives, including goats, chickens, and hampers.
