Bufumbira East Member of Parliament, Dr. James Buturo Nsaba, has called on Christians to go beyond discussing religious teachings and actively embody the values imparted during religious sessions. Dr. Buturo made this plea yesterday at the conclusion of the Men’s Conference for the southwestern region of Uganda, held at Chahafi SDA Church from December 5, 2023.
In his address to the congregation, Dr. Buturo voiced his concern about individuals who identify as Christians based on affiliations and background but do not reflect the true principles of Christianity in their actions. He urged everyone to move beyond mere church attendance and strive to become devoted and exemplary Christians.
Pr. Edgar Abaho, the coordinator of the southwestern Uganda field men’s conference and head of all men from the region under the SDA church, expressed gratitude to the attendees from Kisoro and other regions for their significant turnout during the event.
Samson Mugisha, the leader of Chahafi SDA, conveyed his church’s appreciation for the opportunity to host men from across southwestern Uganda during the conference.
