A 30-year-old  Rukungiri business man Shimon Musinguzi who perished in a Perfect bus accident has been laid to rest at his ancestral home in  Katwekamwe village  Eastern division of Rukungiri municipality.

Shimon Musinguzi died in an accident on Thursday that occurred at Nkoko stage, Mudala-Katovu Sub County in Lwengo district at about 2:30 am along the Masaka – Mbarara highway as he was coming from shopping in Kampala heading to Rukungiri.

He was the son of a famous businessman in Rukungiri Stanley Tumusiime commonly known as Owino who described his son as a person who was hard-working, cooperative, and with vision because he was a young entrepreneur who had started making his future bright.

He narrated to mourners that he was shocked after receiving the bad news of his son’s death because he had started preparing to get a family early next year but his life was cut short.

His brothers and sister led by Dickens Mugabe of Dickens Boutique have described their brother as a person who was cooperative and a young businessman who had started succeeding in life.

Byaruhanga Chrysostom Rwakaana the Rukungiri District Business community Chairperson said that the deceased was a trustworthy and cooperative young entrepreneur whom youth should hence calling upon youth to use their time and resources profitably well while still on earth.

Ven. Amastiko Niwegariho the archdeacon of all saints church Rukungiri while giving his words of encouragement to the mourners noted that  Shimon’s death was God’s timing and none could stop his calling.

He comforted the family and asked them to remain strong amidst all the waves of sadness because the Good Lord is ready to fix the gap left behind by the deceased.

Ven Amastiko described the deceased as a person who was god-fearing, loved, and who attended church at All saints church Rukungiri adding that he also used his 30 years profitably on this earth hence calling the youth to emulate him.

His send-off was attended by hundreds of mourners, who included the business community, clergy, and political leaders.
