The ministry of health on Tuesday delivered 64 hospital beds to Bushenyi District to improve health service delivery
Dr.Edward Mwesigye the Bushenyi District health officer says out of the 64 beds delivered, Kyabugimbi health center lV will get 20 beds, Bushenyi health center lV 8 ,Kakanju 5, Kabushaho health center lll 5, Nyabubaare 5, Nyarugoote 3 amongothers.
Richard Byaruhanga the Bushenyi Ishaka municipality mayor noted that Bushenyi healthy center lV, is crowded with patients from all over the District and surrounding areas.
He said the municipality leadership is planning to construct a storeyed general Ward and work is set to commence at the end of this week
Annet Katusiime Mugisha the Bushenyi Woman MP thanked government through ministry of health for delivereing the hospital beds t noting tha lack of beds and other medical equipments had been a general challenge in many health centers.
She implored the district leadership to always inform the general public on the goods and services brought by the government so that people can know that their government is working.
