Ministry of Education and Sports is to carry out country-wide interviews for admissions into Technical and Vocational Education and Training diploma awarding institutions for national diploma programs for the Academic year 2023/2024.
According to the letter from the Ministry of Education and Sports, the activity will run from 12th to 16th June this year at six regional centers which include Nakawa Vocational Training Collage for the Central Region, UTC Lira for the Northern region, UTC Bushenyi for the western Region, UTC Elgon for the Eastern region, UTC Pakwach for the west Nile region, and UCC Kabale for the southern region.
Those to be admitted should at least have A National Certificate in any field or its equivalent, a Craft 11 certificate, Degree holders of related courses in need of practical skills, and Prior relevant skills, knowledge, and attitude equivalent to National certificate holders or UACE.
In the letter signed by Ketty Lamaro who is the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Education and Sports, applicants have been asked to go for physical interviews on the specified dates at any of the specified regional centers selective.
