The body of Aryatwijuka Living, a 40-year-old Lay reader of Rubira Church of Uganda, was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Katookye cell, Kigata parish, Kyanamira Sub County, Kabale District, in a solemn ceremony attended by numerous mourners who gathered to bid him farewell.
Aryatwijuka Living went missing on the 15th of this month, and Kabale police discovered his body on Saturday at 11:00 am in River Rwabakazi along the Kabale-Mbarara road.
During the burial service, Reverend Golden Akatuhurira, the Parish priest of Kaharo Church of Uganda in Kizinga Archdeaconry, Diocese of Kigezi, delivered a sermon urging mourners to refrain from wrongdoing. He emphasized the importance of pursuing positive endeavors instead of engaging in theft and violence, stressing that each individual has the choice to opt for lawful employment.
The late Aryatwijuka Living is survived by his widow, Ninsiima Prudence, and four children – two boys and two girls.
