A section of leaders in Kisoro district yesterday implored the newly elected member of parliament for Bukimbiri county Eddie Kwizera Wa Gahungu to utilize the remaining four years to reconcile with the aggrieved electorate of Bukimbiri County.

The Kisoro Municipality MP Paul Kwizera Buchana says that Kwizera must remember that every cloud has its silver lining adding that he should be mindful of his limitations moving forward.

Buchana pledged to work with Kwizera where applicable revealing that however, what happened in Bukimbiri, was not an election but an appointment, and the electorate know this too

The Bufumbira East MP Hon. Dr. James Nsaba Buturo says he is prepared to work with Kwizera adding that he should now strive to unite the people of Bukimbiri county.

Dr. Nsaba Buturo says his reservations before, during and after the by-election in Bukimbiri county still stand hbut  if the people have decided that Kwizeera  will lead them for the next four years, so be it.

The Bufumbira North MP John Kamala declined to comment on the matter of swearing-in but insisted that the remaining four years should be to reconcile the aggrieved people of Bukimbiri County.

However, the Kisoro NRM Vice chairperson Ramadhan Ndikuyeze commended Parliament’s expedience in bringing the swearing-in forward.

Kwizera was on Wednesday  sworn in during a sitting of the House chaired by the Deputy Speaker, Thomas Tayebwa.
