The headmistress of Kinoni Girls’ Secondary School in Rwampara, Ms. Grace Tweheyo Ndagire, expressed her gratitude for hosting the school’s friend, Swedish national Ms. Robab Ghazvinizadah, who generously donated a modern kitchen with a cooking stove worth UGX 85 million, along with other equipment that has helped reduce the school’s expenses.

Ms. Ndagire made these remarks while welcoming Ms. Ghazvinizadah to the school during a follow-up visit to assess the accountability of over UGX 100 million invested in school infrastructure development.

She highlighted that the school previously used a traditional mud-and-wattle kitchen, but with the new facilities, they have significantly improved energy conservation. Previously, the school used over 25 lorries of firewood, but now it requires less than eight. Additionally, the modern kitchen has enhanced food hygiene, creating a healthier cooking environment and reducing risks of food contamination.

Ms. Ghazvinizadah stated that the trust and transparency demonstrated by Ms. Ndagire inspired her to mobilize funds to support the education of girls at Kinoni Girls’ Secondary School.

The Chairperson of the Board of Governors, Mr. Javan Lwamafa, commended the school’s progress under the leadership of Ms. Ndagire, noting that her dedication has attracted donors to support its development.

Head Prefect Nuwasiima Shibah expressed gratitude to Ms. Ghazvinizadah, a retired educationist, for sponsoring the construction of the modern kitchen and supporting other school projects.

Additionally, the Chairperson of Kinoni Girls’ Secondary School, Ms. Elizabeth Tumuboine, expressed appreciation for the generous donation, thanking God and acknowledging the positive impact of Ms. Ghazvinizadah’s contribution to the school.
