Kigezi Homeboyz FC has this evening thumped Rukungiri United by 5-1 in the ongoing western regional league in a game that was played at Rukungiri Main Stadium. Alex Kafuro shocked the visitors with a sublime free kick putting the hosts ahead in just three minutes.
However, the visitors restored parity in the 8th minute through Odeke Dickson and the party started.
Tayebwa Emmanuel,Seremba Joseph,Mutungi Minor, and Charles Waibi also added their names to the score sheet for the visitors.
The win takes Kigezi Homeboyz FC joint top of the table with Rwampara Bulls FC all tieing at 35 points whereas Rukungiri United struggles down in the eighth position with 8 points on the log.
