The territorial police in Kabale are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist.
An unidentified motor vehicle was involved in a collision with a motorcycle ridden by Mushemererwa Medard, who has since passed away. Mushemererwa, aged 45, was a resident of Kabahesi Village, Kikore Parish, Kamuganguzi Sub-County, Kabale District.
The incident occurred on August 1, 2024, at approximately 9:00 PM at Kicumbi along the Kabale-Katuna Road.
Police were notified of the accident, visited the scene, and documented it. The body was transported to Kabale Referral Hospital Mortuary for a postmortem examination.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the details of the vehicle involved.
