Residents of Kabwera village in Bunenero parish, Rubaya sub-county, Kashari South, Mbarara district, have expressed their gratitude towards the former Mbarara district chairperson for his dedicated leadership in supporting community socio-economic development.
Mr. Rwandoragi Emmanuel, the chairperson of Kabwera village, conveyed this appreciation while receiving five culverts donated by the former Mbarara district chairperson, Capt JB Timusiime Bamuturaki. The culverts were delivered by Mayor Tom Karuhanga of Bukiro Town Council, representing Capt JB Timusiime Bamuturaki Omudumizi. Karuhanga encouraged the beneficiaries to utilize the improved road network, now equipped with a bridge, to enhance the transportation of goods and services to better markets, thereby increasing household income.
Rwandoragi Emmanuel mentioned that the bridge would connect Kabwera cell to Bunenero village in Bunenero parish, Rubaya sub-county, facilitating easier access to schools, markets, and health facilities.
Karuhanga emphasized Capt JB Timusiime Bamuturaki Omudumizi’s credibility, endorsed by local council chairpersons, urging the community to show political support for his candidacy as the next Member of Parliament for Kashari South.
He thanked the community for their contribution in securing murram for the culvert installation.
Rwandoragi Emmanuel expressed gratitude towards Capt JB Timusiime Bamuturaki Omudumizi for addressing their needs and pledged electoral support.
Margret Tugaine, a woman stakeholder from Bunenero parish, commended Capt JB Timusiime for his responsiveness to community needs, particularly in contributing culverts for the construction of the Kabwera bridge.
Ahimbisibwe Julius Bagyenda, the coordinator of Capt JB Timusiime’s team in Bunenero parish, praised him for his visionary leadership and willingness to share personal resources with the community.
Rwandoragi Emmanuel urged the community to prioritize community service and effective time management, scheduling activities every Monday starting at 8:00 am to maintain the roads.
