A tragic road accident claimed the life of an unidentified male adult in the early hours of Tuesday, April 2, 2025, at Muhokya Trading Centre along the Kasese-Fort Portal highway.
According to police reports, the fatal collision occurred at approximately 12:10 a.m. Officers from Muhokya Police Post, led by the Officer-in-Charge, swiftly responded to the scene, where they discovered the lifeless body of the victim lying in the middle of the road.
Traffic officers from Kasese Central Police Station (CPS) and Muhokya Police Post later transported the body to the mortuary at Kasese Municipal Council Health II for an autopsy and postmortem examination.
Authorities have urged both motorists and pedestrians to adhere to traffic regulations to prevent further loss of life. Police warn that those found violating road safety laws will face legal action.
