Tragedy struck this afternoon along the Rukungiri-Kanungu road as two individuals are suspected to have lost their lives in a fatal accident.
The first victim has been identified as Baganda Julius, though details about his residence remain unconfirmed. The second victim, a motorcyclist, is yet to be identified.
According to local sources, the incident occurred near Bikurungu Town Council in Rukungiri district.
Reports suggest that two motorcycles, one from Bikurungu and the other from Rukungiri, collided head-on. Regrettably, one individual succumbed to their injuries at the scene, while the other passed away shortly after being transported to Doctors Case Medicals in Rukungiri for urgent treatment
The reason behind the accident is still under investigation.
