Managing Director of Community Hospital Mbarara, Dr. Karema Nathan, marked his seventy-seventh birthday with a heartfelt message urging everyone to embrace love and service, emphasizing the importance of promoting reconciliation for a fulfilling life.

Speaking at his birthday celebration held at Las Vegas Garden Hotel in Stock Farm Cell, Nyarubanga Ward, Mbarara City North, Dr. Karema reflected on his journey through life, expressing gratitude to God for sustaining him through various challenges. He highlighted his numerous projects, particularly in healthcare, aimed at positively impacting the lives of people in the community.

The event, organized to celebrate Dr. Karema Nathan’s seventy-seven years, was graced by religious leaders and believers from diverse backgrounds. The Archbishop of the Province of the Church of Uganda led a church service, with the presence of Bishop of Ankole Diocese, Rt. Rev. Associate Professor Fred Sheldon Mwesigwa, and several bishops from the region.

Archbishop Dr. Stephen Samuel Kazimba Mugalu commended Dr. Karema for his resilience and strength in overcoming challenges throughout his life.

State Minister for Animal Husbandry and MP of Isingiro North, Col. Bright Rwamirama Kanyontore, represented Former Prime Minister of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Patrick Amama Mbabazi, at the ceremony. Rwamirama acknowledged Dr. Karema’s efforts in organizing the thanksgiving ceremony, which brought together government officials and religious leaders, emphasizing the importance of reconciliation and forgiveness fostered by the NRM government.

Notable figures in attendance included Senior Presidential Advisor Rwakasisi Chris, who, like Dr. Karema, faced challenges during the transition from the regime of Uganda People’s Congress. He praised President Museveni and the NRM government for their reconciliatory approach.

As a gesture of gratitude, Dr. Karema Nathan donated a heifer to his home church, Kyamugorani Church of Uganda, where he had previously served as the head of the laity in both the Province of the Church of Uganda and Ankole Diocese.
