Rev. Emmanuel Baribusya, the priest of Murama Church of Uganda in Buhunga Archdeaconry, North Kigezi Diocese, emphasized the importance of collaboration between churches to foster development and support revival.
His remarks came during a parish visit to St. Luke’s Kahoko Mitooma Church of Uganda in Nyakagyeme Archdeaconry, also in North Kigezi Diocese. The visit aimed to strengthen relationships, share the Word of God, and promote mutual development.
Rev. Baribusya highlighted the significant role of churches working together and forming such relationships in enhancing overall development. He encouraged Christians to support initiatives like coffee growing and children’s education, aligned with the bishop’s programs, as integral parts of church development.
Rev. Edson Nabaasa, the priest of St. Luke’s Kahoko Mitooma Church of Uganda, echoed the importance of fostering good relationships between parishes and urged other churches to prioritize collaboration. He emphasized the idea of churches working alongside other religions to build the Kingdom of God.
Gracious Mugabe, the chairperson for development at St. Luke’s Kahoko Mitooma Church of Uganda, commended church leaders for initiating these friendships, highlighting their role in promoting unity and mutual growth among churches.
