The Christ the King Parish Rukungiri Assistant Priest Rev Father Henry Barekye has asked Christians to pray for the country over the increased murder cases.
He made the call today morning while leading the morning mass that involved celebrating the Saints Day of Bishop Andrea Kim from North Korea, Catechiest Paul Chong, and 103 others.

Father Barekye says that the murder cases that are heard in the news and announcements over the media are overwhelming hence appealed to Christians to be vigilant and pray for the Country noting majority of them are political.

He further challenged Christians to emulate the Saints by enriching their faith by exhibiting signs and acts of strong faith according to the Church’s belief to glorify their religion.

Nuwamanya Julius, the Director of Rwakabengo Sports Academy and a Christian at Christ the King Parish expressed appreciation to Christians noting that there is a high level of commitment in all church sectors.
