Boona Fm staff, the new Mbarara Corporate League Entrants put up a commendable performance in the second season of the Mbarara corporate League by collecting seven points from 4 matches at Kakyeka Stadium – Mbarara.
Boona Fm staff was grouped together with Pearl Milk LTD, St. Kagwa OBs, Red Cross, and Vision Group.
Boona Fm lost their opener, 2- 0 to Pearl Milk, forced a 1- 1 draw with St. Kagwa OBs, registered their first win by defeating Red Cross 4-1, and cliched their second win by defeating the giant Vision group by 2-1.
Boona Fm became the first corporate League team outside Mbarara to lose only one game in the Mbarara corporate League tournament.
The tournament is ongoing and a date will be announced for season three where teams that have moved out of the group stages will lock horns.
