In a friendly match played on Sunday, August 26th, 2024, at St. John’s Seminary Kiburara Playground, Boona FM FC was narrowly defeated 1-0 by Kasese Young Villa FC.

This match, held in Kasese district, marked the second encounter between the two teams this year.

In July 2024, Boona FM FC had previously triumphed over Kasese Young Villa FC with a 1-0 victory in a match at St. Gerald’s SS playground in Rukungiri, prompting the visitors to extend an invitation for a return fixture in their hometown.

The supporters’ trip included visits to notable sites such as the Lake Katwe salt mines and the Mpondwe border area between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
