The Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, Rt. Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna, has called for teamwork in the development of Kigezi High School.
Speaking at the conclusion of a two-day induction and inauguration ceremony for the new Board of Governors, Bishop Akanjuna urged board members to dedicate themselves to the school’s advancement and to keep its needs in mind at all times. He emphasized that teamwork is crucial for revitalizing the school, addressing its challenges, and restoring its former glory.
Drake Mutahakana, the Diocese of Kigezi Education Coordinator, stressed the importance of achieving good academic performance, which will serve as a benchmark for the school’s success.
Maurice Alex Muhwezi Murari, the newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Governors, encouraged the board to fulfill their responsibilities to the best of their abilities for the benefit of the school.
The new board, which will serve for a term of three years, is led by Maurice Alex Muhwezi Murari as Chairman, and Rev. Can. Reuben Byomuhangi as Vice Chairman. The other board members are Aggrey Yesigomwe, Johnson Tumukunde, Kedress Mutabazi, Patience Kyogaba, Dr. Moses Agaba, Judith Kemigisha Muhunde, Godson Mfitumukiza, Kiconco Patrick Katabazi, Godwin Kakama, and Sabiiti Spencer Oyes.
