Police at Bikurungu Town Council police post is holding Aramanzani Musooma 30’s suspected of killing his wife only identified as Emmily.
Aramanzani Musooma was formerly a resident of Bikurungu Town Council until his parents migrated to Katookye cell, Burombe parish, Ruhinda Sub County, Rukungiri District, but he later returned to Bikurungu as a meat roaster.
According to residents, Thursday at around midnight, Aramanzani’s biological daughter 10 years found her mother only identified at the workplace to report to her that her father had defiled her, after, they moved together back home, and after reaching home Aramanzani stubbed his wife with a knife in the chest killing her instantly.
The in-law who was staying with them informed neighbors who arrested Aramanzani and handed him over to the police.
By press time, Police at Bikurungu Town Council was holding the suspect and guarding the scene waiting for the Rukungiri Central police team to examine it.
