LUWEERO:
The Archbishop of Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu is in Luweero Diocese for his two-days official Pastoral Visit.
He was welcomed in Luweero town by the Diocesan Bishop, Rt Rev Eridard and Mama Jane Nsubuga, clergy and Christians.
Hehas this morning led a holy communion service at St Mark’s Cathedral, Luweero Diocese
The Archbishop is expected to address Diocesan Clergy, visit Diocesan Projects including Ndejje University and other projects during his Pastoral Visit.
Earlier , the Archbishop was the main Celebrant at the thanksgiving Service for Hon. Gen. Edward and Mama Catherine Katumba Wamala in Kikandwa, Mukono Diocese.
General Katumba Wamala mobilized his friends to build his home Church, St. Mark’s Church of Uganda, Kikandwa, whose construction was commissioned and over 500M in cash collected.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who was represented by the Prime Minister Rt Hon Robinah Nabanja commended the role of Church of Uganda in household and community transformation. #cou
