Police in Buhweju district is investigating the circumstances under which a 45-year-old man was murdered.
Martial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Naboth Mushabe, 45 years, a resident of Butare ‘B’ Cell, Rugaba Ward, Nsiika town council in Buhweju District.
It’s alleged that on 01/9/2022 at an unknown time, the victim was assaulted by one only identified as Anthony and others yet to be identified.
Tumusiime said that the victim later went home and never sought medical treatment and he was over the weekend found dead at his home.
He said police have not made any arrests as Anthony and others are still at large and the body was retrieved and taken to Nsiika Health center IV for Post-Mortem Examination as inquiries are ongoing.
