24 people from Rukungiri on Friday 19th August 2022 received a pair of artificial arms donated by World Action Fund, a charity organization operating in Uganda supported by The hand Project of Germany.

A Pair of artificial arms included one for using in handling simple roles like eating, writing, cleaning and the other one for aesthetics like attending parties, church services and travelling.

World Action Fund is a charity organization offering services at Nyakibale Hospital in Rukungiri district, St. Joseph’s Community Centre in Iganga district, Kirudu hospital in Kampala , Kabale Regional Refferal hospital in Kabale district , Kisoro PW centre in Kisoro district and Chaka 2 settlement center in Kyenjojo district.

The World Action Fund Executive director Peter Odama revealed that they are aimed helping people with disabilities to realise full potential and urged others to register with Nyakibale hospital for the offer.

The Orthopaedic office Nyakibale hospital Okoch Keneth asked the beneficiaries to follow the prescriptions for proper handling
