Muslims have been urged to be wary of worldly temptations and the influence of women.

This call was made by Sheikh Emma Rajab, the Imam of Kanungu Town Mosque in Kanungu Town Council, Kanungu District, during Jumah prayers.

Citing statements from the Quran and the Old Testament books of Nabi Musa and Nabi Luti, he warned that sinful acts related to women had led to the destruction of previous worlds.

Sheikh Rajab also urged the congregation to overcome greed by focusing on creating resources that improve the environment rather than accumulating material wealth. He emphasized that by loving and respecting Allah, individuals are granted resources that lead to true prosperity. “It is through being human that God rewards people,” the Imam said.

Updating on mosque developments, Sheikh Rajab noted that they are working towards completing various projects, including the construction of modern toilets, tiling the mosque floor, and rehabilitating the school.

He warned Muslims who disrespect Allah by not contributing to mosque projects or donating to the poor that they risk losing opportunities to enter the Kingdom of God.
