Police in Rubirizi District have arrested a 32-year-old man on allegations of defiling his 4-year-old biological daughter.
Mercial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson identified the suspect as Ibrahim Ssentongo 32 years a peasant and a resident of Mugogo 11 village, Ryeru sub-county in Rubirizi District.
It’s alleged that on the 19th of September 2023, police received information from Ronia Kyarimpa that Ssentongo was found defiling his biological daughter.
Tumusiime said the suspect separated from the victim’s mother about three years ago and early this year she brought the children to their father and the brother aged 2 years and two have been staying with the suspect.
According to Pamela Musimenta 34 Village Health Team officer (VHT) and resident of Mugogo ll village, Mugogo parish, Ryeru sub-county in Rubirizi District, the victim was tested and found out that she has been defiled several times.
