Mwesigwa Bakwise, the Academic Deputy Head Teacher of Makobole High School, expressed his gratitude for the outstanding results and congratulated both candidates and parents for their efforts. He revealed that out of the 74 candidates who sat for the examinations, 71 obtained two principal passes and above, qualifying them for university admission, while the remaining three qualified for diploma programs in tertiary institutions.
He extended his appreciation to the candidates, parents, and guardians, as well as the North Kigezi Bishop, Rt. Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe, and the school’s foundation body. He also acknowledged the Old Boys’ Association and the Ministry of Education and Sports for rehabilitating the school, which had been in a deteriorating state. Bakwise urged parents to enroll more students to benefit from quality academic training for a better future.
