The Kisoro United Boda Boda Electoral Committee has urged all registered members of KUBO to participate in their general elections scheduled for July 31, 2024, in Kisoro Municipality.

This announcement was made by Nkurunziza Wilber, Chairperson of the Electoral Commission for Kisoro United Boda Boda, as the nomination period is set to close today, July 23, 2024. Nominations began on Monday and are concluding today.

Wilber stated that only members who have been part of the association for at least four years and possess a Senior Four certificate are eligible to run in the 2024 general elections. Approximately 7,000 members are expected to cast their votes.

He also emphasized that any candidate who violates the association’s code of conduct will face substantial fines.
