Rev. Fr. Ndyomugabe Balthazar, the Chaplain of Nyakibale Hospital, has issued a challenge to mourners to embrace love for one another during their lives, emphasizing the inevitability of death for all.
Speaking at the requiem mass for Nimusiima Prossy, wife of Moses Gumisiriza, in Nyakaina Central Cell, Nyakaina Parish, Buyanja Sub County, Rukungiri District, Fr. Balthazar urged attendees to abide by God’s commandments, emphasizing love for both each other and the divine.
Acknowledging Moses Gumisiriza, also known as Moses AK 47, for his devotion to his late wife’s well-being until her passing, Fr. Balthazar commended his efforts in loving and caring for her.
Moses, a media personality, expressed gratitude for his wife’s life and the children they shared. Describing Prossy as a loving, caring, and devout partner who contributed significantly to their family and community, he thanked those who supported them during her illness.
Nelson Nshangabasheija Baaba, Chairperson of LC 5 Kabale District, urged mourners to appreciate life while they have it, underscoring life’s brevity and the certainty of death for all.
Representing Gen. Muhoozi Keinerugaba and the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Nshangabasheija extended condolences to Moses’s family, advising him to stay strong in the face of grief.
Dr. Slyvia Arinaitwe, aspiring Woman Member of Parliament for Rukiga District, commended Moses for his unwavering care and support for his wife throughout her illness, highlighting Prossy’s dedication as a hardworking businesswoman and an inspiration to many.
Nimusiima Prossy passed away at the age of 33, leaving behind two children.
