Former Kabale CAO Edmond Ntimba

The Outgoing Kabale Chief Administrative officer, Edmond Ntimba, has commended Political and technical staff, as well as residents in the District for giving him an enabling working environment, which helped him to implement Government projects and programs in the last five years.
Mr Ntimba, was transferred to Mitooma District, in the same capacity, in the recent reshuffle of Chief Administrative officers and their
deputies.

He has been replaced with Fred Kalyesubula, who was also transferred from Bundibugyo District.
According to a transfer letter dated 23rd June 2022, signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government, Ben
Kumumanya, and copied to the permanent secretary Ministry of the Finance and secretary to the Treasury and Permanent secretary,
Ministry of Public Service, Ntimba’s transfer, was done in the Interest of the Uganda Public service.
Ntimba, was posted to Kabale District in 2018, as the Deputy CAO, before he would later be elevated to the position of the Chief
Administrative officer-CAO, following the death of the then CAO, Wilson Tibugyenda.
Speaking ahead official handover, which is due on Friday next week, Ntimba, extended gratitude at both the Political and technical staffs,
as well as residents in the District, for cooperating with him for the last Five years.

This, he said enabled him and the entire District, to
perform splendidly and extend equitable services to the people.
He commended the central Government, which has been funding over 98percent of the district budgets.

Meantime, Elizabeth Byiringiro, has been transferred from Kisoro District to Kabale District, as the Deputy Chief Administrative
officer. Kabale District has not had a deputy Chief Administrative officer, since 2018.
