Members of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) in Nyakagyeme Sub County, Rukungiri district, have recently conducted elections to select their leaders for various positions.

George Beinamatsiko, the newly elected FDC party chairperson of Nyakagyeme Sub County, expressed appreciation to the party members for their active participation in the elections, which adhered to the party’s guidelines.

He commended their trust in him and his re-election as their party chairperson. George emphasized the significance of his role and pledged to dedicate his efforts to elevate the FDC to its rightful position. He also promised to foster cooperation among party leaders despite any divisions at the higher levels of the party.

Kobusingye Gloria, the newly elected vice chairperson of Nyakagyeme Sub County, extended gratitude to FDC supporters for their unwavering love and support for the party. She urged the newly elected committee to remain vigilant and cooperative, emphasizing that this would contribute to strengthening the FDC in preparation for the upcoming 2026 General Election.

Kamusiime Mathias, the Speaker of Western Division in Rukungiri Municipality and the presiding officer of the elections, expressed gratitude to FDC supporters in Nyakagyeme for conducting a peaceful election. He highlighted the use of consensus, ensuring representation from every parish in Nyakagyeme Sub County.
