The Rt. Rev. Gaddie Akanjuna, Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, has encouraged Christians throughout the Diocese to carefully select their friends, highlighting the significance of surrounding oneself with supportive and beneficial individuals.

Bishop Akanjuna shared these insights on Sunday during a baptism and thanksgiving service for Arthur Twesiime, who was honoring the memory of his late parents. The service took place at St. John’s Kamuganguzi Church of Uganda Archdeaconry in Ndorwa West, Kabale District.

Emphasizing the importance of positive friendships, Bishop Akanjuna stated, “Choose friends who will bring a positive influence into your life, who will support your spiritual growth, and help you to live a life that is pleasing to God.”

He underlined the necessity of choosing friends who share similar values and will bolster one’s spiritual journey.
