Authorities in Rukungiri are investigating the discovery of an unidentified body found under mysterious circumstances.
According to a local resident who wished to remain anonymous, the body was spotted Monday at approximately 7:00 AM. The resident promptly alerted the police.
Upon arrival, law enforcement officials collected the body and transported it to Rwakabengo Health Center 3 for examination.
The body appeared to have been at the location for an extended period, as its skin had notably darkened to a brownish hue, making identification difficult.
Police are currently working to determine the cause of death and uncover the identity of the deceased.
