At least eight people are feared dead following a tragic road accident along the Lyantonde–Kampala highway.
The crash is reported to have occurred last night at Katovu Parish in Lyantonde District, located in Uganda’s Central Region.
According to preliminary information, a bus belonging to Kasaba Bus Company, registration number UAL 492H,was traveling from Rukungiri to Kampala when it allegedly collided with a Fuso truck whose registration details are yet to be confirmed.
Details surrounding the cause of the accident remain unclear, and Police have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
