Residents of Bikungu Cell, Nyeibingo Parish, Kebisoni Sub County, in Rukungiri District are thrilled following the resolution of land encroachment issues at Bikungu Health Center 2.
Years ago, residents petitioned the Kebisoni Sub County administration to demarcate the boundaries of Bikungu Health Center 2 and secure a land title to ensure its safety and potential expansion.
Today, Thursday, May 30, 2024, the Kebisoni Sub County administration, in collaboration with the District Lands Department, surveyed the land and placed surveyor’s stones throughout the area, with the title pending.
