The Archbishop of Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has today morning arrived in Ruwenzori Diocese for his official pastoral visit.
He was welcomed at the boarder of the Diocese with Mityana Diocese by Rt Rev Reuben and Maama Lillian Kisembo, Clergy, Lay Readers and jubilant Christians.
He began his official pastoral visit with the commissioning of Nyantungo Parish Commercial Building, Nyantungo Child Development Centre Office, Bishop Balya multi-purpose hall and the Archdeacon’s house.
He was also the Main Celebrant in a holy communion service at Nyantungo Archdeaconry in Kyenjojo District.
Archbishop Kaziimba later held a meeting with Clergy and Lay Readers of Ruwenzori Diocese at the same venue after Service.
Tomorrow (Friday), the Archbishop will minister in Bundibujjo and later to the Diocesan headquarters in Fort Portal, Kabarole District to proceed with other ministerial obligations.
Ruwenzori Diocese is comprised of Kyegegwa, Kabarole, Bundibujjo and Kyenjojo Districts.
