Hon. Natukunda Medius Kaharata, the Woman MP of Rukungiri District, emphasized the heartbreak experienced by the nation due to the loss of young individuals in the labor force. Speaking at the burial ceremony of the late Brian Kajungu in Katungu village, Rwakirunguura, Buyanja Sub County, Rukungiri district, Hon. Natukunda expressed the crucial role that young people like Kajungu play as leaders of both the present and the future.

Acknowledging the hopes invested in the youth, Hon. Natukunda praised the late Kajungu and urged the public to recognize the potential of young individuals. She extended her appreciation to the mother and relatives of the deceased for their care and nursing efforts at Kirudu Specialized Hospital in Kampala. Additionally, Hon. Natukunda encouraged mourners to prioritize seeking early medical intervention.

The mother of the late Kajungu, Kyomuhendo Jackline Buhe, characterized her son as disciplined and visionary, emphasizing his dedication to hard work for a living. She expressed gratitude to family members and the community for their support during Kajungu’s illness.

In a comforting message, the Rwenyangi COU parish priest, Rev Taremwa Hannington Nyereinde, reminded mourners to find solace in accepting Jesus Christ for the promise of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Brian Kajungu, 36 years old, succumbed to diabetes and liver complications, leaving behind a daughter, Birungi Byayesu Esther Vivian, currently in primary five at Standard Junior School in Ntungamo.
