On Friday, August 9, 2024, learners and teachers at Rwabihurwa Primary School received a generous donation of scholastic and welfare items from the school’s alumni.

Rwabihurwa Primary School, a church-founded and government-aided institution in Nyeibingo Parish, Kebisoni Sub County, Rukungiri District, was the beneficiary of the donation. The items included examination papers, posho, sugar, and saucepans, along with other supplies that alumni contribute each term to enhance the teaching and learning environment.

Engineer Sam Michael Tashobya, an alumnus and Vice Chairperson of the Alumni Association, commended the remarkable cooperation shown by the alumni. He reminded the teachers that the alumni are committed to achieving first grades and providing ongoing support.

Frank Arinaitwe Mabwa, another alumnus and prospective LC3 Kebisoni Sub County candidate in the upcoming general elections, praised the voluntary efforts to improve the school. He pledged to advocate for the construction of toilets at both the sub-county and district levels, addressing a significant challenge faced by the school.

Gloria Natamba Turigye, the Headmistress of Rwabihurwa Primary School, expressed gratitude for the support and urged parents to enroll their children at the school, emphasizing the importance of quality education.
