Police in Kabale are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified male adult.
It’s alleged that on Saturday 26th August 2023, at around 04:00 pm at Rutenga ward, Central Division, Kabale Municipality, in Kabale district, the deceased whose identity has not yet been identified went to the residence of one Atuhaire Andrew male juvenile aged 15 years to ask water for drinking, later, he sent Andrew to buy him a soda at a nearby shop when Andrew was coming back, he saw the deceased taking away his goat that was tied in his compound.
He was alarmed for help, but at the same time the deceased was busy struggling with the goat and incidentally, he fell with his motorcycle registration number, *UDZ 855P,* he stood up quickly trying to run away, was intercepted, arrested, assaulted and tied with ropes and police was called for rescue which responded quickly.
The deceased was picked by Police and taken to Kabale referral hospital for treatment where he was pronounced dead moments later.
The scene of the crime was visited and processed, the body was taken to the hospital pending postmortem as Inquiries continued.
