The Kigezi Boona Motor rally in which Boona Fm radio and is partnering with the motor sport club of Uganda (MOSAC) has today been launched at St Gerald’s secondary school playground in Rukungiri Municipality
Kigezi Boona Mosac motor rally 2022 will take place from 10-11th December 2022 in the western districts of Ntungamo and Rukungiri.
Officiating at the event launch, the Rukungiri resident district Commissioner Stephen Nsubuga Bewayo thanked Boona Fm for the good service rendered to the community and urged the business community to embrace and tap into this golden opportunity
MOSAC Uganda president Frank Beyendera says they decided to hold the rally in Rukungiri and Ntungamo districts to promote investment,tourism and give back to the community hence asking the community to cooperate.
Maanige Wenceslas Boona, the Boona FM radio director thanked Members of the Rukungiri district community,district leadership, business community for their continued support to the radio and its projects noting that it wouldn’t have been possible to bring the motor rally to the district without their support.
Shaffic Matovu, the Mosac clerk of course urged boda boda cyclists and other road users to be cautious on the rally days noting that security starts with an individual.
Santrina Namanya Kakyene the station manager Boona radio urged the business community and local people to cooperate towards making this motor rally a success.
