Rtd Col Dr. Kiiza Besigye has decried the unfair treatment of Ugandans saying that all Ugandans are equal and should be treated equally in receiving service.
He revealed that in Uganda today, some people are treated fairly while others are mistreated which he vowed to continue fighting for as long as he is still alive.
These were part of the remarks he made yesterday while attending the burial of a staunch FDC strong supporter Alfred Kagyema in Kirima sub-county Kanungu district.
Besigye told the mourners that the security operatives in the country are all quiet on the first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s political rallies he is holding in different parts of the country yet he is still a serving army officer explaining that he was arraigned in the court martial for just leaking a military document.
Kanungu district chairperson Eng Sam Kajojo described the late Kagyema as a hard-working person who will be remembered for the positive changes in the tea industry especially in the time, he worked with Kayonza grower’s tea factory.
Eng Sam Kajojo further implored the people of Kanungu to protect the environment if they are to do away with the environmental hazards being experienced today in Kigezi region.
Business Tycoon Dr. James Musiguzi Garuga described Alfred Kagyema as a personal friend who was principled and hardworking.
While giving words of encouragement to the family of the deceased, the bishop of the diocese of Kinkiizi Dan Zoreka said the late Kagyema served the church well and will forever be credited for a number of developments in the church and the diocese.
