A tragic road accident occurred this morning at around 7:00 am in Kakureiju village, Kanungu District, claiming the life of an American tourist and leaving three others injured.

 The crash involved a Toyota Land Cruiser, registration number UAM 271U, driven by 33-year-old Alpha Dadaire, a resident of Wakiso District.

The vehicle, which was carrying American tourists, reportedly lost control after failing to brake while navigating a sharp corner on a slope. The car rolled several times before plunging into Kyeshero Bridge.

The accident claimed the life of 40-year-old Shuldman Harrison Evan, a resident of New York, USA.

Three others sustained injuries: – Zachary Avayou, 39, from Pennsylvania, USA – Jeremy Frederick Wright, 25, from California, USA – The driver, Alpha Dadaire, 33 The injured were rushed to Bwindi Hospital for medical attention, and the deceased was also transported to the same facility.

The vehicle has been towed to Kihihi Police Station for inspection as investigations into the incident continue.

    The road wasn’t too bad at the moment but u can’t stop da accident to happen,just believe mi or not ur life has a limit so if it’s ur turn u die I was there on Sunday da road was passable.let da foreigner RIP but Uganda olemwa😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
