A total of 326 pupils and students in candidate classes from Nyaruhanje Sub County today   participated in a candidate’s career day organized by peer link initiatives Uganda at the organization’s office in Ibanda Parish Nyarushanje Sub county Rukungiri District.

Monic Natukunda the   field coordinator for peer link initiative says the candidates at   P.7, S4 and s6 levels were drawn from 17 schools across the sub county

They interacted with colleagues and facilitators who focused on question interpretation and approach.

Question interpretation and approach have always been pointed out as the major challenges to candidates during their examinations and the Candidates career day provided an opportunity for them to address some of the challenges

Edias Orikiriza one of the facilitators called upon candidates to avoid malpractice, read books in time, and joining revision and discussion groups.

The candidates pledged to use the skills attained from the interaction to improve their performance.
