In a gesture of friendship and support, the Nyankoro Bataka Association has donated a 100-seater tent and UGX 200,000 to the Rweibaare Bataka Association. The donation was made during a friendly visit to Rweibaare Cell, Bugangari Sub-County, Rukungiri District, aimed at strengthening the relationship between the two associations.

The visit follows an earlier initiative by Rweibaare Bataka Association, where they sought knowledge and developmental ideas from Nyankoro Bataka Association. In response, Nyankoro members, led by their chairperson Boaz Ruteera, decided to extend their support through the donation.

Madam Florence Magezi, Chairperson of Rweibaare Bataka Association, expressed her gratitude, commending Nyankoro Bataka Association for fostering developmental friendships. She emphasized the importance of cooperation among members to leverage such relationships for personal and community growth.

Retired Can. Elias Mbangi, the founder of the Rweibaare friendship initiative, along with Vice Chairperson Ambikiize Johnbosco Mbiika and Association Adviser Turyahumura Isiah, also conveyed their appreciation. They highlighted the significance of Nyankoro Bataka Tukore Group’s support in improving livelihoods and promoting accountability among members. They assured attendees that Rweibaare Bataka Association is committed to mutual support, including expanding their assistance to insurance initiatives and providing financial and material aid for members during special occasions.

While addressing the gathering, Nyankoro Bataka Association Chairperson Boaz Ruteera encouraged cooperation and accountability among members to combat poverty and drive community development. He emphasized the value of time as a critical resource and urged members to prioritize hard work over materialism and gambling. Additionally, he called on parents to work for their own stability rather than relying on their children, who are still striving to establish their futures.

Ruteera commended the Rweibaare Bataka Association for its unity, diligence, and dedication to strengthening friendships that foster growth and development. He noted that the donation of the tent and financial contribution symbolizes the commitment of Nyankoro Bataka Association to uplifting their counterparts and promoting sustainable community progress.
