Police in Rukungiri are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of 9 years old Daniel Tuzarirwe a pupil in the middle class at Nyabushenyi lower primary school and resident of Nyakahanga “A” village Nyabushenyi parish Nyarushanje sub-county Rukungiri district.
According to Elly Mate the Kigezi region spokesperson, It’s alleged that the deceased left home on Monday morning and went to school together with other two young brothers, Kamugisha Deusdedit and Nsiime Todius but, later in the evening at around 05:00 pm, while coming back from school, at Kashanda village the deceased told the two young brothers to move as he was to follow them, which they did.
The two are said to have reached home and the deceased was waited in vain. The grandparents started tracing him but could not find him the whole night, till the morning of Tuesday as they were still tracing the deceased, one Ndyahika Kashemerwa an area councilor informed them of an unknown body found in his banana plantation.
Police was alerted by one Consilanta Korugyendo 50 years old, at Rubabo police station,
scene of the crime Examined and Documented, the body was taken to Rwakabengo health center III mortuary for postmortem and inquiries started.
