The Kisoro deputy resident commissioner, Robert Tukamuhebwa has been transferred to Kabale district after serving for just a few months in Kisoro district.

Speaking to our reporter , Tukamuhebwa confirmed his transfer to Kabale district and said that he will still serve as the deputy resident commissioner.

He commended the residents of Kisoro district for the seed of unity he had witnessed for the period he had spent in Kisoro and that the district will always stay in his heart as his home.

He said that he has already received the transfer letter and that there is nothing big that is behind his transfer.

Tukamuhebwa is now replacing Abel Bakunda Mushambo who had also served as the Kabale deputy resident commissioner for a few months.

By the time of filling this story, Bakunda had not yet commented on the transfer.
