Five Government-aided Primary Schools, in the Western Division of Rukungiri Municipality, yesterday received Pre Primary Leaving Examinations courtesy of the Western Division.
These schools, namely Kahororo, Rukondo, Ruruku, Kiyaga, and Kinyasano Primary School, have been provided with sets of exams covering English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
Madam Twinomugisha Sylivia Katimbira, the Chairperson of Western Division LC3, disclosed that they have facilitated these exams to help pupils become familiar with standard exam papers in preparation for the upcoming Primary Leaving Examinations, with the aim of achieving excellence.
Bernard Tumushangye, the Head Teacher of Kinyasano Boarding Primary School, mentioned that their students will be taking these exams on Thursday and Friday, further noting that these exams will help enhance their academic skills.
James Airinaitwe, the Head Boy of Kinyasano Boarding Primary School, expressed his gratitude, stating that these examinations have challenged them with new question techniques, motivating them to study harder.
