The Rukungiri principal municipal educational officer Alfred Katabazi Mutuzo has challenged learners to set academic goals, know their weaknesses and strengths, and profitably utilize the time they have if they are to pass with flying colors.

He was yesterday speaking at the   Boona School of Journalism   premises during a celebration of the good performance of students in the 2020/2023 UBTEB Examinations

The school had a total of 15 certificate and 4 Diploma students who passed with flying colors 
Katabazi said the pillars of a good education are parents, lecturers, and students   

Manige Wenceslas the director BOSJO urged the students to be disciplined if they are to achieve in life.

He noted that though the school registered a good performance but faces challenges like indiscipline, tuition defaulters, and limited space for students but is working hard towards resolving the challenges

Namanya Santrina Kakyene the Boona FM station appealed to parents, to entrust them with their children, as they are committed to raising God-fearing and law-abiding citizens 

Rev Obed Tumwebaze, the parent’s representative hailed the Administrators and students for the achievement that has made the school known across borders.

He urged the students to remember where they come from and mind about the reason for their being at School, ensuring smartness and discipline both physically and mentally.
