Over 18 million shillings both in cash and pledges was yesterday collected at Kihumuro C.O.U Kikungiri Parish, in Kigezi Diocese during a thanks Giving and celebration of 40 years of marriage and 40 years of church ministry for Rev. Canon Warren Byamugisha a retired member of the clergy from the diocese of Kigezi, 

 The money collected is to be used to upgrade the floor of   Kihumuro COU church to a terrazzo finish.

Rev. Canon Warren Byamugisha is father to Honest Wilkins Natukwasa, the executive Director of the CHIFCODE social enterprise which Oversees Great lakes regional University, Great lakes High School and   5 five primary schools all in Kanungu District

While delivering the days sermon, Rt Rev Dan Zoreka, the Bishop of the diocese of Kinkiizi appreciated Rev Byamugisha for raising Godly children noting that his son   Honest Wilkins Natukwasa is a good Representative of God’s Workmanship  

Bishop Zoreka urged Honest Wilkins and his wife Miriam to similarly raise their child whom he baptized John David Aine Natukwasa in the same service.

During this service a community social enterprise called (Women Evangelism and Empowerment Ministry – WEEM) was officially commissioned by Bishop Dan which will be operating in the two Dioceses of Kigezi and Kinkiizi.

Rev. Canon Warren and Harriet Byamugisha renewed   their   matrimonial vows in same service.

In his speech, Rev Byamugisha said he was happy for the love that people showed him by attending the thanksgiving ceremony.

The Kanungu District Lc5 Boss Engineer Sam Kajojo delivered his appreciation on behalf of himself and Kanungu at large to the people of Kabale for sending an Honest person to head CHIFCOD social enterprise and Great Lakes Regional University which he said is doing so well

The Guest of Honor was Commissioner Kakama Godwin who serves as the Finance Officer in the Ministry of Finance

Also present was retired Bishop Enock Kayeeye, Engineer Sam Kajojo the LC5 chairman – Kanungu District, Rev Liberty Muhereza, Rev. Prof. Rugyendo, Staff Great Lakes Regional University, and staff CHIFCOD schools and institutions.
