MPIGI:

The Archbishop of Church of Uganda, The Most Rev Dr Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu has this afternoon arrived in Central Buganda Diocese for his two day official pastoral visit.

He was received by Bishop Michael Lubowa, Clergy, Mrs Sheila Mujuni the Diocesan Mothers Union President and hundreds of jubilant Christians at Nakirebe in Mpigi District.

On arrival, the Archbishop paid a courtesy visit to Eng. Peter Will Ssebanakitta in his home in Lungala, Mpigi District.

He later made a prayer stopover at St Paul Bessania Church of Uganda in Mpigi town.

The Archbishop will today afternoon dedicate Double Cure Hospital in Mpigi town, St Michael’s Chapel in Kasaka, Gomba District, and commission the construction of Pension House in the same area.

During his pastoral visit, he will visit and commission a number of projects including; Kasaka Child Development Centre, Kasaka Maize Milling factory, Rev Canon Kanakulya’s retirement home, Kasaka Coffee and crop farm, Diocesan animal farms among other projects.
